Fergie's Flipping Fuming!

Line up the boots and prepare to be punted..well at least not for the next five matches anyway.

As if the FA couldn't get any more idiotic. They did. This is after the revelation that Sir Alex is to be banished to the stands for the next FIVE matches over voicing his always very descriptive opinion about referees and the like, after losing twice in the space of 8 days. But how can this be justified though, given Jamie Carragher felt the need to impale Nani's leg against United and get not so much as a look in from the ref?

This then gives a chance to see the future of Premier League football when SAF decides to finally hang up his boot kicking boots. Even if you're not a Manchester United supporter or one half of the country and hate Ferguson because he handed in his application for the United vacancy (instead of your home club) it is evident English football will suffer, mainly because of the personality and life that he brings to the game.

"Babbling to people who walk by, crying out for Emile Heskey and rolling around in a puddle of the Nation's hate"

A similar feeling to when Mourniho left is likely to linger amongst United fans because the heir to the inevitable Posion Throne is going to have to be young, energetic, full of charisma and..oh right that's Jose Mourinho, the only realistic replacement that can keep United from falling into the Conference within five seasons..But if they feel that they want to go the same way as Chelsea and hire a manager who can barely speak English and is a bit useless, I hear there is going to be a scruffy looking Italian wandering the streets of Wembley, babbling to people who walk by, crying out for Emile Heskey and rolling around in a puddle of the Nation's hate, is going to become available in about a years time...

'Here's a cheque to be the England Captain...but we don't wanna give you that'

It's not easy being Rio Ferdinand. One day your the England captain, the next your not. Tough times.

The latest instalment to the glorious "Capello-years" sees Fabio taking the armband and giving it back to the lion-heart that is John Terry, suggesting that he has served his sentence on the naughty step for quite long enough.

But why now? Is Capello deliberately trying to bring the atmosphere and morale of the England squad down to such a level that not even all the money in the world (or Rooney's pay cheque) will be able to lift their sorry knuckles off the ground for 90 minutes of the week in order to beat a formidable Welsh squad? Who knew a 10 inch piece of cotton could cause such disarray? Anybody would have thought the Terry-Upson partnership against Germany had already known what was going to happen.

"Even Heskey didn't understand why he was being played"

It has become quite evident that Fabio Capello has out stayed his overly-paid welcome in England and his first class Ryanair ticket back across the Italian borders is unlikely to be met with a public mourning come the end of Euro 2012. This is mainly due to unforgivable act of bringing on a striker in the dying embers of a knockout game who's sole career achievement was..being picked for the England squad? No one blames Heskey but even he didn't understand why he was brought on.
But good thing Britain has spent millions of pounds in spare cash on a manager who sill isn't entirely sure where Newcastle is or who Joey Barton plays for, else this country would be in a right financial meltdown...

Wayne Whooney?

The White Pele. Six months down the line and the red half of Manchester asks "Wayne Whooney?".

He who once wanted to commit the rest of his career to the club, now asks about whether there is a future at the club and where the ambition has gone. A certain Sir Alex Ferguson replied with "35 trophies". And thats only under the great man himself.

So even though Rooney has signed a whopping contract, making him the highest paid player in history (reward for form? Hmm), one has to question his intentions and loyalties to the club and I quote "Once a blue, always a blue". Wayne will have to rebuild his relationship with the fans again after slashing them down at the ankles with allegations that he may go to Manchester City, so a return to form is in serious need. But with the emergence of Javier Hernandez aka Ole Gunner Solskjaer 2.0, Wazza will have to prove his worth to the manager and the fans once again.

No Player Bigger Than The Club?

Even with the quality of talent coming through the ranks, one has to ask the question. Does Wayne Rooney need Man U as much as they need him?

The answer is a definitive no. He is still very much a hot property even through the worst slump of his career and still an asset to be aquired by Europe's biggest clubs. So can he ask such questions of the club and demand such propositions? Yes. It is evident that the club have lacked in the department left by that boy Ronaldo and there has been little in the way to show that they are now a better club for selling him. But does Rooney have the right to cross Fergie and slap United across the cheeks? The club that made him? No.

Will he be at United when City come knocking with a bumper offer? Contracts evidently just paper, it all depends on how much he values his loyalties and what price they they can be bought for. One night with a Sheikh made of money makes the outlook look bleak for United fans across the globe.
